Note: These notes are taken from a Peace TV video clip. They cannot be published as definitive texts and should never be used in the future as an “official” publication of True Father’s words. However, they do provide a good idea of the “spirit” of the message. Rev. Katsumi Kambashi
Mrs. McDevitt read Father’s speech from his speech book #21, titled “Significance of the 2nd Seven-Year Course.”
The following are some of Father’s words at the meeting.
“I saw cars and houses being thrown away by the tsunami. Where will those who lost their homes go? They must go to where there is no tsunami, and must go to land. Then they must go through the peninsula, which is the Korean peninsula. It is like a threshold and the blood should be shed there.”
“The time when boats were made by wooden or iron molds are gone. Our boats, made by the direct negative resin mold, can be made in bulk and even sold in communist countries. This boat will never rust even after a thousand years. By coating the boat once every 10 years, the boat will be fine and that is a small price to pay. Our boat is a revolution in the boat-building industry. We can make oil tankers, like a 50-ton tanker.”
“Agricultural productions depend on the seasons but fish is limitless if we know the routes of fishes in the world and also farm it based on the scientific data. Then we can catch fish all through the year. One cannot help but become rich by being involved in the fishing industry. Parent fish know when they need to have more offspring, and they then reproduce more. Therefore, fish in the ocean is exhaustless and we can also farm it. There will be no food problem in the future once we realize it.”
“It is only Korea that is surrounded by the ocean where there are lots of fish. Sky is the limit for Korea to develop fishing businesses.”
Finally True Mother sang “Glory Halleluiah” and everyone joined her.
